Cryptocurrency exchange Coinhako is considering an IPO after seeing trading volume from January to May 500% higher than in all of 2020.
The Singapore-based company predicts volume will exceed $ 7 billion by the end of 2021, according to a report from Forcast on Tuesday.

The exchange has more than 300,000 registered users in the city-state, averaging 150,000 active each month.
Coinhako, which launched in 2014 with the backing of venture capitalist Tim Draper, is considering an IPO, Forcast said.
"Given how the cryptocurrency markets have developed in the US and Europe, we believe it is only a matter of time before the cryptocurrency industry in this part of the world takes off as well," said Coinhako CEO Yusho Liu.
